After raw material processing, we sent the billets for forging at our in house state of art forging facility. Hammers and Presses are used for forging at K.K. Metals. We usually forge Carbon Ferrous Alloy steels, Stainless Steels, etc. from customer approved or reputed sources. Here, the heating of billets is done on Temperature controlled Induction billet heaters manufactured by Endothermic (the most expensive and best quality furnace manufacturer in the world).
It is important to note that there are many factors that need to be considered by the engineers during selection of best forging process, conceptualizing forging die and product designing. The factors include size, complexity, geometry, material, component cost, quantity, and dimensional tolerances.
